Carried3.3Mobility Transit Application Discussion Chair Root presented the Mobility Transit Application Discussion.Moved by: Member CameronSeconded by: Member Svehla The AAC recommends that the city review the application process for the Mobility program in 2025, to address the length and invasive nature of the application and refer to the feedback given at the meeting on 2025-02-18. In addition, the AAC requests to be involved in a direct discussion with staff about this process during that review. The AAC also recommends that the application form should not request private medical information. The AAC recommends that mobility transit passes should not expire for individuals with long term disabilities. Carried3.4TaxiScrip Program General Discussion Chair Root presented the TaxiScrip Program General Discussion.Moved by: Member CameronSeconded by: Member Ashkewe The AAC recommends that the city review the application process for the TaxiScrip program in 2025 to expand eligibility and refer to the feedback given at the meeting on Feb. 18, 2025. In addition, the AAC requests to be involved in a direct discussion with staff about this process during that review. The AAC recommends that approval for mobility transit service should not be a requirement in order to apply for the TaxiScrip program.
