Chair Harrington called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.

Chair Harrington provided the Indigenous Territorial Acknowledgement.

Advisory Committees Governance Framework Updates

Winnie Chan presented the Advisory Committees Governance Framework Updates.

  Seconded by: Member M. Milton

  That the Municipal Property and Building Commemorative Naming Committee recommends to City Council transitioning the Municipal Property and Building Commemorative Naming Committee to an alternative form of community engagement.

Chair and Staff Announcements

Rory Templeton, Landscape Planner informed the Committee that the City has sent a letter to engage with the indigenous groups about the Kortright East Subdivision Park. If the City does not receive their responses by early in the new year, the City would ask the Committee Chair to reconvene the Committee to look for alternatives for the Park.
