Mayor Guthrie called the meeting to order 6:03 p.m.

Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and General Nature Thereof

There were no disclosures.

Mayor’s Announcements

Mayor Guthrie spoke to former Councillor Bob Bell's recent passing and offered condolences to his family. 

3.

Strategic Plan Refresh: Workshop with City Council #1 - 2023-04

Scott Stewart, Chief Administrative Officer, introduced the presentation topic and workshop objectives.
Daniel Beemsigne, Acting General Manager, Strategy, Innovation and Intergovernmental Services, talked about why strategic planning is important and what City Council's role is in regard to the strategic plan. 
Shanna O'Dwyer, Acting General Manager, Finance/City Treasurer, spoke to how the strategic plan guides the budget.
Sabine Matheson, Principal, Strategy Corp Inc., guided City Council through a strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats exercise and strategic objective setting.
