Councillor Allt stated his disagreement with the comments made by Councillor Bell. Chair Goller acknowledge the statement from Councillor Allt and continued on with the discussion.Moved ByCouncillor DownerSeconded ByCouncillor Salisbury GJR shall continue its core business of safely, effectively and efficiently moving freight along rail corridors to service customers that support local business and community economic activity. AND that GJR work with City Parks Staff on collaborative opportunities for enhancement and expansion of the trail network that are in alignment with the Trails Master Plan priorities. And that the annual report of GJR include information about ongoing collaborations with City Parks Staff. And that the matter of the possible use of GJR dividends for trails associated with the railway be referred to 2023 Budget discussion.
