Mayor Guthrie called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Introductions and Multi-Year Budget Highlights
 

Trevor Lee, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Services provided opening remarks.

Councillor Gordon arrived at 6:09 p.m.

Aiden Grove-White, Manager, Municipal Services, Strategy Corp. introduced the Council Workshop speakers and panelists and outlined workshop topics.  He summarized the current City budget process and proposed multi-year budget framework.  

Dave Jaworsky, Mayor, City of Waterloo, provided details regarding the City of Waterloo multi-year budgeting process.

Review of Budget Policy Methodology
 

Tara Baker, General Manager, Finance City/Treasurer outlined the four-year multi-year budget framework and proposed policy.

Budget Process Panel Discussion
 

Councillor Caron arrived at 7:08 p.m.

Aidan Grove-White, Manager, Municipal Services, Strategy Corp. lead the panelists Tony Haddad, Senior Advisor, Strategy Corp., 
Josh Morgan, Councillor, City of London, and Filipa Reynolds, CFO and Senior Director, City of Waterloo through questions relating to their experiences with the multi-year budgeting process.

Trevor Lee, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Services provided closing remarks and next steps regarding the multi-year budget process.
