Mayor Guthrie called the meeting to order. (6:02 p.m.)

Stephen O'Brien, Terry Gayman, Jennifer Juste, and Shawn Doyle provided a presentation on the Transportation Master Plan including an introduction, vision and values, policy framework, the Transportation Master Plan goals, existing conditions - travel patterns, proposed mode share target, alternative solutions, evaluation of alternatives, support for alternative 3 solution, corporate alignment, other city Transportation Master Plans, and next steps.

    1. That Council approve staff’s recommendation to proceed with Alternative 3, the “Sustainability and Resiliency Focus” as the preferred solution for the Transportation Master Plan.
    2. That staff be directed to develop an implementation plan, policies and financial strategy to support Alternative 3 for Council’s approval in December 2021.

    It was requested that the clauses be voted on separately.
