  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the open Council Meetings held January 25, 2021, Special Council meeting dated January 18, 2021 and Committee of the Whole meeting dated January 11, 2021, be confirmed as recorded and without being read.

The following resolutions have been prepared to facilitate Council’s consideration of various matters and are suggested for consideration. If Council wishes to address a specific report in isolation of the Committee of the Whole Consent Report, please identify the item. It will be extracted and dealt with separately as part of the Items for Discussion.

  • Recommendation:
    1. That staff be directed to ready the City for the implementation of the Joint Investment Board option available under the Prudent Investor Standard while monitoring the legislative landscape for additional opportunities that may arise from an anticipated provincial review of municipal investment legislation; and
    2. That staff be directed to report back to Council with final Investment Policy recommendations within two years, subject to the anticipated provincial review; and
    3. That the proposed amendments to the current Investment Policy to expand access to professionally managed investments through ONE Investment be approved.

  • Recommendation:

    That by-law numbers (2021)-20573 to (2021)-20576 are hereby passed.

A By-law of The Corporation of the City of Guelph updating the Standard Market Values (Schedule A) to the Parkland Dedication By-Law.

A by-law to authorize the execution of a Subdivision Amending Agreement between Terra View Custom Homes Ltd. and The Corporation of the City of Guelph and The Toronto-Dominion Bank. (NiMa Subdivision Phase 1B).

A By-law to authorize alternative methods of voting for the 2022 Municipal Election.

A by-law to confirm proceedings of a meeting of Guelph City Council held February 22, 2021.
