    1. That the May 1, 2025 Heritage Guelph Consent Agenda as outlined below be approved:
    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 117 Surrey Street East merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 117 Surrey Street East as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated May 1, 2025.
    1. That the Heritage Advisory Committee recommends to City Council that 240 Woolwich Street merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
    2. That the Heritage Advisory Committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “240 Woolwich Street – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated May 1, 2025.
    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 89 Surrey Street East merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 89 Surrey Street East as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated May 1, 2025.
    1. That item 2.4, "2 Suffolk Street West - Draft Council Designation Report, 2025-217" be deferred to the June 5 meeting of the Heritage Advisory Committee to facilitate consultation with the property owner
    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 18 Paisley Street merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 18 Paisley Street as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated May 1, 2025
    1. That the Heritage Advisory Committee recommends to City Council that 1 Norwich Street West merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
    2. That the Heritage Advisory Committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “1 Norwich Street West – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated May 1, 2025
    1. That the Heritage Advisory Committee advises City Council that 3 Norwich Street West merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
    2. That the Heritage Advisory Committee advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “3 Norwich Street West – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated May 1, 2025.
    1. That the Heritage Advisory Committee advises City Council that 5 Norwich Street West merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
    2. That the Heritage Advisory Committee advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “5 Norwich Street West – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated May 1, 2025.
    1. That the Heritage Advisory Committee advises City Council that 7 Norwich Street West merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
    2. That the Heritage Advisory Committee advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “7 Norwich Street West – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated May 1, 2025.
    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 9 Norwich Street merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 9 Norwich Street as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated May 1, 2025.

Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner, presented on 57 Kirkland Street: Request to Demolish a listed property.

    That Heritage Guelph provides the following advice to City Council with respect to the demolition application for 57 Kirkland Street:

    1. That the property be removed from the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Properties

Colleen Gammie, Infrastructure Planning Engineer, presented on the Exhibition Park Neighbourhood Infrastructure Improvements Preliminary Design Project - Cultural Heritage Evaluation Report.

Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner, presented on 128 Dufferin Street: Request to demolish a listed property.

    That Heritage Guelph provides the following advice to City Council with respect to the demolition application for 128 Dufferin Street.

    1. That the property does not merit designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, and
    2. That the property be removed from the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Properties

Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner, noted that City Council will be considering Advisory Committee of Council appointments in the coming months, and applicants to the Heritage Advisory Committee can expect notification from the City Clerk's Office regarding their application following Council's consideration.

Stephen Robinson, Senior Heritage Planner, noted the open house for the Ontario Reformatory Heritage Conservation District Study at the Legion on Watson Road on May 8, 2025, starting at 4:30 

Imogen Goldie, Project Manager - Heritage Planning, noted an open house for the Downtown Heritage Conservation District, at City Hall on May 7, 2025 starting at 5:00 p.m.

Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner, noted that the Ward West Heritage Conservation District Study has been finalized, and will be considered by City Council on June 10, 2025. Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner, also introduced Jillian Sanders, Heritage Research Assistant, to the Heritage Advisory Committee.
