Update on Proposed Zoning Regulations to Permit Four (4) Units on Low-Density Residential Lots

Planning staff will provide an overview of the draft zoning regulations released on March 28, 2024 for the statutory public meeting.

Presentation: Cushla Matthews, Development Advisor and Katie Nasswetter, Project Manager, Policy 
(*please note the presentation slide deck will be provided on the revised agenda to provide for the publication of the March 28, 2024 Staff Report that contains the draft regulations).

• Recommendation:

  THAT the Planning Advisory Committee receive the staff presentation "Proposed Zoning Regulations to Permit Four (4) Units on Low-Density Residential Lots"; and 

  THAT the comments provided by Planning Advisory Committee members on the proposed regulations be provided to staff and Council for their consideration.

Update on the Housing Affordability Strategy

Planning staff will provide a verbal update of the progress to date and upcoming engagement opportunities.
