Mayor Guthrie called the meeting to order (9:31 a.m.).

Councillor Caron raised a Point of Order.  Councillor Caron requested that the staff recommendation be moved.  Mayor Guthrie confirmed that the Staff recommendation was moved and seconded.

    1. That City Council affirm its decision to designate 50-60 Fife Road pursuant to Section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.

    That City Council withdraw the notice of intention to designate 50-60 Fife Road pursuant to Section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act and that it be removed from the register.

    That, Council direct staff to work with the applicant to use salvageable building materials to create a public facing commemorative structure and plaque on Fife Road to ensure the significant cultural history of this site is not lost, at the cost of the property owner, and in consultation with Heritage Guelph.
