    That the February 21, 2023 Meeting Minutes be approved, as amended to correct the spelling of Member Stienstra's name.

Jennfier Slater, Manager Information, Privacy and Elections/Deputy City Clerk and Carrie Murray-Sprague, Council and Committee Coordinator, made a presentation and received committee member comments regarding voting methods and accessible voting service enhancements for the 2026 municipal election. Clerk's Office staff provided committee members with a survey to identify additional alternative voting methods and accessible voting service enhancements. The survey is available to all committee members until May 1, 2023. 

Mallory Lemon, Park Planner, made a presentation and received committee member comments regarding the playground rubber surface strategy.

    That the AAC supports the adoption of a geographic distribution of playgrounds with rubber surface within 2.5 km of residential areas. Further, the AAC supports the implementation of two new rubber surface playgrounds to fill distribution gaps in the central and north-west areas of the City.

Nicole Kupferschmidt, Tourism Programs Officer, made a presentation and received committee member comments regarding Guelph's Seasonal Patio Program. 

Glen Lombard, Manager Community Engagement, made a presentation and received committee member comments regarding the Promise and Design Principles of the Community Engagement Framework.

    That the AAC supports the community engagement promise and design principles as proposed with consideration to the comments and feedback provided by the committee at their meeting held on April 18, 2023.

Steve Anderson, Manager Transportation Engineering, provided committee members with an update on the City of Guelph Traffic Calming Policy. 

Sarah Cunneyworth, Accessibility Coordinator, provided a summary of the site plan interval review report and new legislation impacts.
