The Heritage Guelph Workshop Call to Order

  • Motion:

    That the minutes from the September 27, 2022 meeting of the Heritage Guelph Committee, be approved.

  • Motion:

    THAT Heritage Guelph provides the following advice to the General Manager of Planning and Building Services with respect to the demolition application for 70 Edgehill Drive:

    The property does not merit individual designation under the Ontario Heritage Act.

  • Motion:

    THAT Heritage Guelph recommends that the properties detailed in the Agenda Attachment, “Couling Inventory properties being considered for listing (Exhibition Park South) (July 15 2022)” be considered for inclusion on the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Properties and be the basis for community engagement of the Municipal Register of Heritage Properties Couling Building Inventory expansion project for the Exhibition Park South area; and

    THAT the following properties not be considered for inclusion on the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Properties: 11 Edwin Street, 9 King Edward Place and 223 Suffolk Street West.

Please provide any announcements, to the Chair or Staff Liaison in writing, by 10 am on the day of the Committee meeting.
