Robinson, Senior Heritage Planner Clarification Questions: What are the next steps in the designation process going forward? In Phase 1 of the Study is Heritage Guelph only voting to support the boundary? Was there any pushback from adjacent property owners during consultation? Did the consultation include the Guelph Junction Railway? Were the landowners asked to comment on the heritage attributes? If the municipal designations do not apply while the land is owned by the Province, what is the worst-case scenario? When would HCD protections apply? Is there a record of who was consulted and when? What is the timeline for the District Plan and Guidelines? Were there any items identified in the area but decided to not include in this list? Is there a record of ones considered by WSP? Why is the reservoir, south of Dunlop Street, Not being considered for inclusion? Motion:THAT the comments provided by Heritage Guelph committee members on the Ontario Reformatory HCD Study Workshop #3 – Phase 1 Study Recommendations be provided to staff and Council for their consideration.
