Recommended Motion: 


That the minutes from the February 6, 2025 and February 20, 2025 meetings of the Heritage Guelph Committee, be approved.

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the G. M. Frost Building at 328 Victoria Road South merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for the G. M. Frost Building at 328 Victoria Road South as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated February 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 136 Glasgow St N merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 136 Glasgow St N as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated March 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the 52 Paisley St merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 52 Paisley St as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated March 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the 54 Paisley St merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 54 Paisley St as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated March 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the 56 Paisley St merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 56 Paisley St as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated March 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the 15 and 17 Paisley St merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 15 and 17 Paisley St as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated March 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion: 

  1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the 13 Paisley St merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
  2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 13 Paisley St as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated March 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:
That Heritage Guelph recommends Council direct Heritage Staff to initiate Part IV designations for 476 Gordon Street (J.D. MacLachlan Building), 99 Trent Lane (Day Hall), 250 Arboretum Road (O.A.C. Centennial Arboretum Centre), 390 Gordon Street (War Memorial Hall), and 480 Gordon Street (McLaughlin Library).
