    That the minutes from the September 9, 2024 meeting of the Heritage Guelph Committee, be approved.

Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner, provided a presentation on 15 Forbes - Heritage Permit Application.

    THAT Heritage Guelph is in support of Heritage Permit HP24-0007 for 15 Forbes Avenue.

Stephen Robinson, Senior Heritage Planner provided a presentation on 116 Gordon Street - Heritage Permit Application.

    THAT Heritage Guelph provides the following comments to the General Manager of Planning and Building Services with respect to heritage permit application HP24-0003 for 116 Gordon Street.

    1. Consideration should be given to other railing designs for increased visibility, such as clear glass panels; and
    2. If there is a major change to the design as proposed, the application should return to the committee for further comments.

Tiffany Hanna, Park Planner provided a presentation on 762 Woolwich Street: Woodlawn Memorial Park Heritage Impact Assessment.

    THAT Heritage Guelph supports the recommendations outlined in the "762 Gordon Street Heritage Impact Assessment" prepared by ASI and dated August 2024.

  1. Stephen Robinson, Senior Heritage Planner informed Heritage Guelph that the draft Heritage Conservation District Plan and Guidelines will be available for Heritage Guelph by November 4, 2024. Further discussion of the draft will take place during the meeting on December 2, 2024.
  2. Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner asked Heritage Guelph to confirm their attendance at the one-hour workshop on October 15, 2024.
  3. Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner informed Heritage Guelph that staff will bring forward to Council three notices of intention to designate, including 37 Christie Lane, 22 James Street East, and 19 Fountain Street on November 13, 2024.
