Delegations will be allocated a maximum of five minutes to present their opinions to the committee. Delegations must register prior to the meeting and no later than 12:00 noon on January 31, 2025. Persons not registering by the deadline will not be allowed to address the committee.

Members of the public who have an interest in delegating to Item 3.1 19 Woodycrest Drive: Draft Council Designation Report, 2025-67 and/or Item 4.1 33-35 James Street West: Heritage Permit Application, 2025-60, may register up until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025.

    That the minutes from the January 13, 2025 and January 27, 2025 meetings of the Heritage Guelph Committee, be approved.

    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 19 Woodycrest Drive merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 19 Woodycrest Drive as described in Heritage Planning staff’s report in the revised agenda for the meeting of Heritage Guelph on February 6, 2025.

    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 33 Dormie Lane merits designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 33 Dormie Lane as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated February 6, 2025.

    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 59 Green Street merits designation under Part IV, Section 29, of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes for 59 Green Street as outlined in the Heritage Planning staff report dated February 6, 2025

    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 30 Eramosa Road merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “30 Eramosa Road – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated February 6, 2025

    1. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that 32 Eramosa Road merits designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act; and
    2. That Heritage Guelph advises City Council that the committee supports the heritage attributes recommended in the staff report titled “32 Eramosa Road – Draft Council Designation Report” and dated February 6, 2025.

Recommended Motion:
That Heritage Guelph recommends Council direct Heritage Staff to initiate Part IV designations for 476 Gordon Street (J.D. MacLachlan Building), 99 Trent Lane (Day Hall), 250 Arboretum Road (O.A.C. Centennial Arboretum Centre), 390 Gordon Street (War Memorial Hall), and 480 Gordon Street (McLaughlin Library).
