The March 2023 Heritage Guelph meeting is being hosted in a hybrid format. The public can attend or delegate using the Webex link above.

Delegations will be allocated a maximum of five minutes to present their opinions to the committee.  Delegations must register prior to the meeting and no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, March 10, 2023. Persons not registering by the deadline will not be allowed to address the committee.

  THAT the minutes from the February 13, 2023 meeting of the Heritage Guelph Committee, be approved.

Nomination of Heritage Guelph Member to Serve on Naming Committee

Presentation: Jack Mallon, Heritage Planner

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT (name) be appointed as the Heritage Guelph representative to the Naming Committee

Designation Priorities and Draft 2023 Workplan (consideration of proposed motion deferred from February 13, 2023)

Presentation: Victoria Nagy, Heritage Planner

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT Heritage Guelph supports the February 2023 recommended list of priority properties for designation research.

Staff Report: Intention to Designate 65 Delhi Street

Presentation: Stephen Robinson, Senior Heritage Planner

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT Heritage Guelph recommends that City Council give notice of its intention to designate 65 Delhi Street pursuant to Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act in accordance with the statement of significance provided with Item 2.3 of the Heritage Guelph agenda dated March 13, 2023.

Staff Report: Intention to Designate 49 Norfolk Street

Presentation: Victoria Nagy, Heritage Planner

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT Heritage Guelph recommends that City Council give notice of its intention to designate 49 Norfolk Street pursuant to Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act in accordance with the statement of significance provided with Item 2.4 of the Heritage Guelph agenda dated March 13, 2023.
